Gov. Steve Beshear vetoed 19 provisions of HB-1 (The Budget Bill) passed during the 2010 Special Sessions, including Part IV Section 9 The Public Employee Health Coverage Program. The Personnel Cabinet now has the responsibility to develope a plan consistant with the funding levels prescribed in the budget. See Page 7-8 of the Governor's veto message at the link below.
